Meet the founders
Macon and Maria met at Northwestern University and bonded over a shared love of fashion. Macon is a Charleston, SC native; Maria was born in Colombia and grew up just outside of Miami. While living in New York, they got in the habit of raiding each other’s closets instead of buying something new for each wedding or work event. Eventually they wondered, why stop there? Why not borrow from their stylish neighbors in the West Village? That question is how Village Wardrobe was born.
