These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Village Wardrobe website and services (the "Service"), operated by Village Wardrobe, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Village Wardrobe is a fashion rental service. We source, price, clean, and manage the logistics of every item available for rent. We handle dry cleaning directly — items are professionally cleaned between every rental. Customers browse available items, select a rental period, and we take care of the rest.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

Rentals and Returns

When you rent an item, you agree to:

  • Treat it with reasonable care during the rental period;
  • Return it by the agreed date in the same condition you received it, accounting for normal wear; and
  • Not alter, sub-rent, or transfer the item to any third party.

If an item is returned damaged beyond normal wear, or not returned at all, you may be charged for the cost of repair or replacement.

Pricing and Payments

Village Wardrobe sets all rental pricing. Fees are shown clearly before you complete a booking. Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partners. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

SMS Notifications

If you opt in to SMS messages from Village Wardrobe, you consent to receive texts about your rental activity and account updates. Message frequency varies. Standard carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent to SMS is not required to use the Service.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to misuse or damage rented items intentionally, or to interfere with the operation of our platform.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including our name, logo, photography, and written materials — belongs to Village Wardrobe, LLC and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Village Wardrobe, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the rental giving rise to that claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
